Since 2012, our network has ambitiously expanded, thanks to knockout firm recruitment and growth strategies. Today, we continue to seek out and attract innovative, entrepreneurial firms ready to take their business to the next level, expanding their capabilities and creating new, added value for their clients.
A look back
Gaining momentum with the addition of Collins Barrow Durham in late 2012; our network was poised for further growth. In 2013, we rolled out our “Punch” campaign, which invited leading regional firms to “punch above their weight class.” Since then, we have successfully recruited new member firms in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Ontario and British Columbia.
Representing the network’s long-anticipated return to the Prairies, we recruited Collins Barrow HMA (the largest professional accounting firm in Northern Manitoba) and Collins Barrow PQ to join the network in late 2013.
With locations in Winnipeg and The Pas, Collins Barrow HMA was the first Manitoba firm to extend service to both the northern and southern regions of the province.
Based out of Saskatoon and Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Collins Barrow PQ has been providing service throughout Western Canada since 1920. With a strong community track record of success, the firm continues to uphold its tradition of excellence by adding to its arsenal of specialty services.
In 2014, Collins Barrow continued its growth trend with the addition of firms in Victoria, British Columbia and the Southern Georgian Bay region in Ontario.
Collins Barrow Victoria Ltd. joined the network in May 2014 with offices in Victoria and the Westshore area of Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Collins Barrow SGB LLP brought coverage to the Southern Georgian Bay region with office locations in Collingwood, Meaford, Owen Sound and Walkerton.

According to Harry Blum, chair of Collins Barrow National’s Firm Recruitment Initiative, the growth strategy shows no signs of letting up.
