Profile of John Anderson

Biography

Mr. John A. Anderson has spent 37 years serving the agricultural community. His duties to the industry have included working with farmers on an individual basis, and developing and delivering Farm Business Management Programs, through workshops, seminars and conferences. Mr. Anderson has provided many services as Provincial Farm Business Advisor as well as Cost of Production and Business Analysis Lead for the province of Ontario.

In 2000, he moved on to become Sr. Project Manager for the Family Farm Succession Initiative for the Canadian Farm Business Management Council and was actively involved in the development of the Agri-Success program across Canada. Today, John is a consultant for Collins Barrow Winchester's Agri-Business and Farm Succession Practice.

He provides consulting services throughout Ontario and Canada and continues to give his input and time to the advancement of farm business management and succession planning with programs such as "Growing Forward" and the University of Guelph's "Life-long learning in agribusiness management and entrepreneurism - a web-based and face-to-face format, for farmers and producers.
